How this was made
The data comes from Eurostat (dataset tour_ce_omn12): nights booked on Airbnb, Booking and Expedia, by NUTS 2 region. It is not the whole holiday rental market, because it leaves out direct bookings and other platforms. Up to 2024 it also included Tripadvisor, which left this market at the end of that year, so 2025 growth compares three platforms with four. OkeyStay adds no data of its own: the growth, percentages and comparisons are our calculations from that table, using the latest year all regions have, and Eurostat is not responsible for them or for this use. The growth comparison only includes regions with at least 1% of the country's nights.
Data read on 4 November 2026. It updates by itself when Eurostat publishes new figures. See the table on Eurostat
